About Us

Here's a list of a few of the permanent staff members and editors at Enchanted Conversation:

Kate Wolford, Editor: Kate is a full-time writing lecturer. She teaches about writing and fairy tales, and has extensive writing and newspaper editing experience. Kate's blog is DiamondsandToads.com. She lives in Indiana, and she and her husband, Todd, are also publishers of EnchantedConversation.org. They have two cats, Kitty Boy and Chester.

Julia and Gilbert Caroff, who live in South Carolina, are also publishers of Enchanted Conversation. They are the parents of five children and numerous grandchildren. Lifelong lovers of literature, Gilbert and Julia have inspired two generations of passionate readers. Their generosity has helped make Enchanted Conversation a paying market for writers and poets.

Cecelia Myers, Assistant Editor/Food Writer: Cecelia is a devoted reader and loves to cook. She lives and works in Chicago with her husband Matt, and their wiener dog, Oscar. Cecelia is a graduate of Indiana University, Bloomington.

Amy Petrilla, Contributing Editor: Amy is a literacy expert who also has master's degree in library science. She lives in Maryland, with her husband Stan, and their two daughters. She is a media specialist with Howard County Schools.

Susan Caroff, Contributing Editor: Susan is a professor in education at a university in Pennsylvania. She lives in Pennsylvania with her dog, Louis L'Amour Pompadour.
