We're currently putting together the second issue of volume one of EnchantedConversation.org. Why searching for illustrations for this "Beauty and the Beast-themed edition, I was delighted to come across a truly useful site. Called, sensibly enough, "Beauty and the Beast," this site, which is run by someone named Rebecca (couldn't find her last name) who clearly is a passionate devotee of the story, and her site shows it. From poetry to scholarship to film -- you name it, it's there. I can tell it is a reliable source. Please do check it out.

Great site! “Beauty and the Beast” is fastly becoming my most treasured fairy tale and it is nice to see someone devote so much time and energy into the tale. The plethora of information, renditions, and varied versions are really helpful in understanding the underlying moral (or morals) of the tale and with each version, even if told entirely different, it helps the reader to understand the story as a whole. I say morals because I strongly believe that while the main or first-glance moral tends to be that beauty is more than skin deep, I believe there is a strong moral to be found in the relationship between Beauty and her Father, and how this inspires children of absent or reckless fathers in modern-day or “real life.” The graphics and pictures are so wonderful and help depict the story and the poems are very clever. It is so very interesting in the way the varied versions of the story are told and how many ways (short and long) the story can be told. ~Angiej T390
“Beauty and the Beast” truly is tied as being one of my favorite fairy tales. The other is “Aladdin and the Wonderful Lamp.” Both of these fairy tales were great! Positive notes!
That link was something awesome!! Through the papers I have been doing I have been researching and researching, unfortunately I didn’t see that link until I had already turned in my final draft of my paper I may have used that as a site instead of all in book citations. I love poems, I think that may be the reason I love the Disney versions of fairy tales so much because of the awesome musical scores that are poetically arranged lyrically and otherwise.
So from here on out before I do a paper on fairy tales this will teach me to make sure I check the blog sites out first and foremost that way I can have a more broad assortment of literature to pick from!
